The Blasphemy Challenge

I think the language is meaningless. I think that the non-believer who thinks that "blasphemy" means "I deny the existence of the Holy Spirit" is confused. (Almost everyone has denied the power and/or existence of the Holy Spirit, which means that almost no one can be saved.) I think that, unfortunately, Christians have so obscured the truth in so many cases that this kind of nonsense seems "rational" to some people.

I agree with you. When I first heard about it I thought we as followers of Jesus needed to respond in some manner, but the more I thought about it the more I realized it was really meaningless. Their challenge is meaningless and any response we might offer would be, as Jesus said, throwing pearls before swine. So in the end I concluded the best response is no response.
