Use Us to Bring Harmony

{Psalm 133; ESV}
Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity! It is like the precious oil on the head, running down on the beard, on the beard of Aaron, running down on the collar of his robes! It is like the dew of Hermon, which falls on the mountains of Zion! For there the Lord has commanded the blessing, life forevermore.

Heavenly Father, You created us to live in community. It is in community that we feel safe, that we are encouraged, and that we discover healing. Community is vital for life.

Yet, we live in a world fractured because of sin. We hurt each other, erect barriers to fellowship, and judge one another unfairly. These realities bring disunity into our families and into our churches.

We confess that we have been the cause of broken friendships and disunity. We ask for Your forgiveness for the part we have played in bringing hurt, heartache, and disharmony into the world. We ask for gracious, loving, and compassionate hearts that seek to build bridges with people and create fellowships for people to find community.

Lord God use us to bring harmony and peace into the world.
