Being Single

Marriage is sacred.  The writer of the book of Hebrews wrote, "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous" (Hebrews 13:4; ESV). We should do what we can to make sure the marriage is honored in the Church.  Even single Christians have a role to play in honoring marriage.

One of the ways the single Christians can honor marriage is to use their time of singleness to prepare the day they will be married.  In our culture, where the divorce rate is high even among Christians, this is vital. We need to do what we can to make sure our marriage will be built on a solid foundation.

Here are several ponderings I have written about being single and preparing for marriage.  Hopefully they will encourage and inspire you to prepare for marriage.
